Joyce Ann Mormino (Kwasniak), 80, of Chesterland, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at her home. She was born on April 10, 1944, to John (Babe) and Pauline Kwasniak. She graduated from Ursuline Academy of the Sacred Heart in 1962. On June 10, 1963, she married the love of her life Joe Mormino. For many years, she owned and operated Euclid Floral in Euclid, OH. Joyce loved cooking, spending time with family/friends, shopping, reminiscing on the old times and playing the slot machines. Anyone that walked through her door quickly became a friend. She would cook for them and gladly share her recipes (her stuffing recipe was the best)! She also enjoyed decorating her house, sparkly gold tchotchkes, and sitting on the porch with her family and friends. She taught her family to value friendship and taking care of others.
She is survived by her sons; Robert Mormino (Denine), Anthony Mormino (Marianne) and daughter in law, Sherry Mormino. Our "sky is the limit" grandma leaves behind, Sean, Sarah (Justin), Nathan (Laura), Olivia (Aaron), Meghan, Gus, Dominic, and Gina, great-grandchildren, Miles and Nora.
Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Mormino; beloved son, Larry Mormino; parents, John and Pauline Kwasniak; and siblings, Tedd Kwasniak, and Paula Bialko.
A mass will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at 10am (Divine Word Catholic Church), 8100 Eagle Rd, Kirtland, OH 44094. A reception will immediately follow at Divine Word.
