Juan Torres Aviles (Tony), 58, of Ponce, Puerto Rico (Ashtabula, Ohio) passed away on January 27, 2024, at David Simpson Hospice House in Cleveland.
Born December 14, 1965, in Ponce, Puerto Rico he was the son of Paula Rosa Aviles and Juan Torres Alvarez. On May 15, 2015, Juan married Joe-Ann Burdette and they shared many memories for 22 years.
Juan worked in the oilfields and nurseries most of his life. In his spare time, he liked to help people fix cars. He loved his Toyota's and his music. His best friend was his dog, Princess.
He is survived by his wife, Joe-Ann Torres Aviles; children, Mazda Aviles, Ivette (Hayley Spencer), Juan Sr., Jonatan, Dwight, Michael; siblings, Jose Torres Aviles, Carlos Colon, Angie Colon, Ericka Colon Aviles, Beverly Burdette, Brianna Rockwell, and Tyler Rockwell; many nieces and nephews; baby Terry, Kirstin, Hamid (Sammy), Seth (Marian), JuJu, LyLy; great nieces and nephews Abree, Linton, Siah, Chase, Onna and Mister.
Tony was preceded in death by his mom, Paula Rosa Aviles; sister, Lydia Mook; nephew, Xavier Mook; father-in-law, Ernest Burdette; best friend, Michael Burdette.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 5pm to 7pm on Thursday, February 1, 2024, at Lake Erie Cremation and Funeral Services, 1500 Harpersfield Road, Geneva, Ohio.
