Judy Marie Poe (Wancho), 70, passed away on Friday, January 30, 2026, and has been taken to Heaven to be with her husband, James F. Poe Sr., her two loving children, Nicoletta Woodin and Phillip Poe, and her infant grandson, Nicholas Hitchcock. She will also be reunited with her sister, Debbie Wancho, brother, Carl (Punchy) Wancho and beloved parents, Carl and Stella Wancho.
Judy was born on the 4th of July 1955 in Cleveland, Ohio. She was a caretaker and worked as a nursing assistant and raised four wonderful children and shared her time with 15 beautiful grandchildren. Judy loved to cook and bake especially at the holidays with family. She had a vibrant energy and loved helping others. She made instant connections with everyone making friends everywhere she went and she truly cherished all the bonds she made throughout her life. To know Judy was to love Judy!
Judy is survived by her two devoted sons, James F. Jr. (Stacy) Poe and Jesse (Autumn) Poe; loving sisters, Connie (Tom) Mushe, Denise (Chuck) Kronik; brothers, Jerry (Bev) Wancho and Frankie Wancho and 14 beautiful grandchildren, William, Jacie and Cory Hitchcock, Brandi and Dominick Woodin, MaKayla, Marissa, James Mason, Marshall, Jessica, Joey, David and Adam Poe, and Stella Mangano.
Judy's family will receive friends at Lake Erie Cremation and Funeral Services, 29801 Lakeland Blvd., Wickliffe, OH 44092 on Saturday, February 14, 2026, from 10:30am-1:00pm. A Graveside Service will immediately follow at 2:00pm at All Souls Cemetery, 10366 Chardon Road, Chardon, OH 44024 where she will be laid to rest. A Celebration of Life will immediately follow the burial at the Chardon VFW, 752 Water Street, Chardon, OH 44024.
