June Ann Witt, age 79, of Thompson, Ohio, passed away on March 4th, 2026, at her home surrounded by her family. June was born on July 2, 1946, at her home in Spangler, PA., to parents James and Mildred DeLarre. June married (the late) Eckley Joe Witt on September 21st, 1963. June loved flowers and planting in her garden and tending to her yard each year, she also loved cooking, making jelly and making wine. She enjoyed her pets, she loved camping and especially loved spending time with all of her grandkids and her nieces and nephews. June is survived by her sons, Joe E. Witt and James (Amy) Witt, she is also survived by her grandchildren, Alex, Patrick, and Rebekah Witt, and her great grandchildren, Merritt, James, Michael, and Annie Witt. June siblings Julie Coe and Nancy Fisher also surviver her. She is preceded in death by her husband Eckley J. Witt, her parents James and Mildred DeLarre, her grandparents, Arthur and Blanche Wilks, and her siblings, Mildred Tuley and James DeLarre. The family will be planning a Celebration of Life in the Spring and will announce date, time and location once it has been decided.
