Katherine (Kathy) Fraser of Chardon, age 86, passed away December 8, 2025 after a brief illness. She is survived by her sons Will (Louise), Rick, Tom, and grandchildren Christina and Liam. Kathy enjoyed spending time with her family many friends and pets. She loved the outdoors and stayed active by hiking, cross country skiing and swimming. She traveled extensively and recently visited the region of her ancestors in Slovenia, Austria and Italy with her son and grandchildren. Kathy was a skilled cook who kept her heritage alive by preparing traditional Slovenian dishes and pastries at Christmas and Easter. She was friendly with her former husband Bill and loved his daughters Emily and Alison. Per her wishes there are no formal services. In lieu of flowers the family suggests a donation to the American Cancer Society.
