Katherine Maude Morales, 63, of Geneva, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on October 17, 2021 at her home.
She was born June 6, 1958 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The daughter of the late Bill and Ann (Laird) Pickel and graduated from Eastlake North High School in 1976.
Kathy loved canning, cooking, gardening, talking with her siblings daily on the phone, enjoying time with Fred outdoors, and visiting with her children, grandchildren & great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her longtime companion, Wilfredo (Fred) Laboy; children: Dolly Morales, Orlando (Jenelle) Morales, Jr., Chico (Lisa Murtha) Morales, Billy (Joanna) Morales, Mary Laboy, Freddie Laboy, and Frankie Laboy; grandchildren: Isabelah, Mason, Cody, Hannah, Patience, Cheyanne, Kylee, Anna, Blake, Nathan, Nessa, Jaxon, Kallan, and Aliyanna; great-grandchildren: Elijah, Lucas, Claytin, and Asher; siblings: Bill (Patricia) Pickel, Ellen (Chris) Canning, Dan (Carmen) Pickel, and Mary (Joe) Pickel Kish.
Kathy was proceeded in death by her parents, Bill Pickel March 28, 1995 and Ann (Laird) Pickel June 6, 2000; grandparents, Horace and Margaret Pickel.
Lake Erie Cremation and Funeral Services, 1500 Harpersfield Road, Geneva, Ohio assisted the family with arrangements.
