Kathleen Elizabeth Crawford, 61, of Painesville, Ohio, passed away on Friday, April 10, 2026, at Hospice House in Cleveland, OH.

She was born on July 9, 1964, in Painesville, OH, to John L. Hido and Patti Rose (McCabe) Pietila. Kathy married Bill in 1988 and remained with him until his passing 1999; she later married Joe Crawford in 2006.

She was a dedicated caregiver, spending many years caring for individuals with developmental disabilities and the elderly. Her compassion and kindness defined both her work and her life.

Kathy found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved reading, traveling, photography, and animals. She was a devoted fan of Disney and was known for her fondness for Diet Pepsi. She was also of the Catholic faith.

She is survived by her children, Frank Beseda and Aaden Crawford; her grandchildren, Zackary Scott, William (Xander) Tripplett, and Lilly Beseda; and her siblings, Maureen (Ken) Crim and Mary Pat (Bill) Crim.

She was preceded in death by her spouses, Joseph Crawford and Bill Beseda; her parents, John Hido and Patti Rose (McCabe) Pietila; and her grandparents, Frank and Rose McCabe, and John and Margaret Hido.

Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 1:00 to 4:00 PM at the home of Ken and Maureen Crim, 190 Briar Hill Drive, Painesville, OH 44077.
