Kathleen Marie Drews, age 78, of Jefferson, passed away on Saturday, December 13th, 2025, with her loving family by her side. Kathleen was born to John Bendura and Ruth Beeching on November 14th, 1947, in Cleveland, Ohio. She attended School in Collinwood and then went on to earn her Cosmetology License and worked for many years as a beautician. Kathleen married the love of her life (late) husband Hans Drews in October 1969. Shortly after, they started their family so Kathleen made the decision to retire from her career as a beautician to raise their children. As their children grew up and began having children of their own, she once again devoted her time to help raise her cherished grandchildren. Being with her family was the greatest joy for her. She also enjoyed decorating her home for the holidays, boating on Lake Erie, spending time in the garden, and she loved to dance. Kathleen is a devoted Christian and was proud to attend Eagleville Bible church. She is survived by her children Wendy Ann (Brian Hill) Drews - Hill and Hans David (Kimberly) Drews, her grandchildren Johnathan Drews, Justin (Hope) Drews, Jarred Hill, Jenna Hill, Bailey Drews, and Brinkley Drews. Kathleen is also survived by her sister Cynthia (Tom) Massey and many loved nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents John and Ruth Bendura, her husband Hans Jurgen Drews, and by her sister Donna Henson. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18th, 2025, from 5pm-6:30pm, at Lake Erie Cremation & Funeral Services, 1500 Harpersfield Rd., Geneva, Ohio, 44041. A Funeral Service will follow Visitation and be held 6:30pm-7pm. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations can be made to Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC, 20090-6011.
