Keith Alan Moyer, 61, of Perry, Ohio passed away August 4, 2024, in a drowning incident on Lake Erie. Keith was born February 7, 1961 in Painesville, Ohio to Bob and Amy Moyer. Keith attended Harvey and Perry High Schools and graduate from Hocking Technical Institute with a degree in Culinary Arts. He worked for many years in restaurants from Cleveland to New Orleans. Keith married Margaret Kish in 1990 and they had four children.
Keith was a jack of all trades including roofer, painter, landscaper, and rabbit house builder. He enjoyed building, crafting, rug hooking, model houses, collecting everything, golfing, fishing, boating, hiking, campfires and spending time with friends and family. Hours of games were played (especially Quinto). He often said, "I did not know much, but I know a bunch of random facts." Keith was a great artist and great company to have on any adventure, as long as he had his cigarettes and friends and family around him, he was a happy man. His favorite Halloween costume was Keith with teeth, along with glasses! He didn't let anything slow him down and celebrated every occasion, even dancing to "Burning Down the House."
Keith leaves behind, his mother, Amy Moyer, siblings; Daryl Moyer (Tricia) and Cindy Duncan, his children; Alan Michael, Joseph Robert (Rachel Kayza), Jacinta Catherine (Luke Bertone) and Bernadette Hana, nieces and nephews; Ann, Katie (Spencer), Lindsey, Ian, Addy, Levi, Mia and Brody. Proceeding him in peace are his father, Robert Moyer and Grandparents; Louise/George Moyer and Alvar/Florence Werronen.
There will be a Celebration of Life for Keith Moyer held on Sunday, August 18th from 5pm- 7:30pm at Lee Lydic Park, 3954 Call Road, Perry, OH 44081. There is a pond if you would like to fish in remembrance of Keith (please bring your own fishing equipment).
