Kenneth Raymond Jarvis, Sr., 86, of Madison, Ohio passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at University Hospital in Cleveland.

He was born August 9, 1935 in Painesville, Ohio the son of the late August and Ruth (Bystrom) Jarvis, Sr. On December 11, 1954 he married Carol A. Jennings at the Church of Christ in Painesville, Ohio and together they shared almost 67 years of love and memories.

Kenneth was a hard worker and was a proud member of the Ironworkers Local 17 in Cleveland for 40 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, farming, cooking, and watching football.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Carol Anne (Jennings) Jarvis of Madison; children: Myla M. Ferguson (Jerry), Kenny R. Jarvis (Lorraine), Denise M. DeMarcki, Bonnie L. Moreland (Terry), and Elizabeth A. Sill (Shawn); 13 Grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; brothers: August Jarvis, Jr. (Delores) and Dennis Jarvis (Linda).

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:30pm on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at Lake Erie Cremation and Funeral Services, 1500 Harpersfield Road, Geneva, Ohio where the family will receive friends from 12 Noon until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Upside of Downs Foundation of Lake County, 6533-B Brecksville Road, Independence, OH 44131 in honor of their granddaughter, Paige DeMarcki.

The family wishes to extend a special "Thank You" to nurses Kyra Hatten and Sharon Rose from the 7th Floor ICU Unit at UH Cleveland for their compassionate care and assistance during Kenneth's final journey.

Lake Erie Cremation and Funeral Services, 1500 Harpersfield Road, Geneva, Ohio 44041 assisted the family with arrangements.
