Kevin Orlando Palmer, 63, of Ashtabula, Ohio, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, January 31, 2026, after bravely battling cancer for four years.
Kevin was born on March 19, 1962, in Ashtabula, the son of Burt and Vera Palmer. He was a lifelong resident of the area and a proud graduate of Ashtabula High School, Class of 1980.
Kevin worked for many years in manufacturing, including 20 years with WeK Industries and also with Iten in Ashtabula. He was known as a hardworking, dependable man who took pride in providing for his family.
He was active in his youth, playing trombone in the Ashtabula High School band. Kevin was also a devoted sports fan, especially of the Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Buckeyes. He was a member of the East Ashtabula Club and enjoyed time with friends and family.
Kevin is survived by his daughter, Brittany (Palmer) Anderson, and her husband, Mike Anderson; and by his beloved granddaughter, Kennedy Anderson, who brought him great joy. He is also survived by his siblings, Keith (Teri) Palmer, Connie (Roger) Soller, Randy (Sandy) Palmer, Debbie (Bim) Braden, and Renee (Danny) Loucks; as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Burt and Vera Palmer.
In accordance with Kevin's wishes, no services will be held at this time. A memorial celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Kevin's name to the Cancer Society.
