Lee Hickel, a cherished mother and grandmother, known for her devotion to her family and the joy she took in housekeeping and meal preparation for them, passed away on Tuesday, June 10 at the age of 95. Lee loved to cook for her family and host parties for her friends, and everyone in her life looked forward to those occasions. She was a dedicated mother to her three children, James, Laura, and David, and her life revolved around caring for them and creating a warm and loving home. Her love extended to her grandchildren, Alanna and Amelia Hickel, and Leanne Kubiez, whom she adored and doted on with great affection. Her great-granddaughter, Vivian, who resides in Sweden with her mother, held a unique place in her heart, despite their distance. Lee faced the profound loss of her husband James, and daughter Laura, with strength and resilience, and she remained a pillar of support for those around her. She will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to have been touched by her.
