Lee E. Carr, age 91, of Pierpont, Ohio, passed away Thursday, April 7th, 2022.
Lee was born on June 29th, 1930, in Pierpont, Ohio, to parents John A. Carr and Margery (Flack) Carr. After graduating high school, Lee enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1951 and served our country with honor. On September 4, 1954 he married Charlotte Rushton and together they shared over 67 years of love and memories.
Lee was a gun enthusiast, crackerjack marksman, and an expert on ballistics. He also loved hunting, fishing, and the great outdoors.
Lee is survived by his loving wife Charlotte; his children, Ellen (Edmund) Reyes, Janet (Gary) Marcy, Dan Carr, Mary Jane (Bimal) Dassani, and David (Rita) Carr; his loving grandchildren, Erin Bennett, Nathan Reyes, Elisa Burchett, Allison Dassani-Hancock, Steven Dassani, and his six great-grandchildren.
Lee was preceded in death by his parents, John A. Carr and Margery (Flack) Carr, and his siblings, James Carr, Elbridge Carr, John Carr Jr., and Frank Carr.
A visitation is scheduled for April 23, 2022, from 10:00am-12:00pm at Pierpont Presbyterian Church, 71 State Route 7, Pierpont, Ohio. A funeral service will follow visitation at noon. Burial will be held at a future date at Evergreen Cemetery in Pierpont, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Lee's name to any charity or non-profit close to your heart.
