Lester C. Watren, 78, of Madison, passed away January 2, 2022 at UH Cleveland.
He was born March 24, 1943 in Bellfountaine, Ohio the son of the late Francis and Betty Jane (Hollis) Watren.
Lester was the longtime owner of Action Muffler and Auto in Geneva. He had a passion for race car driving and sponsored several cars at the Painesville Speedway.
He is survived by his longtime companion, Opal Page; daughter, Kathy Lee (Dick) Danzig; son, Gregory Watren; grandchildren, Jacob Danzig, Jodi Danzig, Leah Danzig, Zachery Watren, and Savannah Watren; great-grandson, Jensen; brother, Francis "Banky" (Pat) Watren; sister, Christine Watren.
Lester is preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Betty Jane (Hollis) Watren; brother, Gregory Watren; sisters, Rita Waldon, Diane Watren, and Brenda Watren.
At his request, there will be no services.
Lake Erie Cremation and Funeral Services, 1500 Harpersfield Rd, Geneva, OH assisted the family with arrangements.
