Obituary

Liborio Collazo Lebron Jr. "Lee-Lee" "Leebo" "Libo", 52, of Artesia, New Mexico, formerly of Geneva, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at UH Geneva Hospital from a heart attack due to natural causes. He was born in Ohio on March 17, 1973, to parents Margaret Melendez and Liborio Lebron Sr., and attended Geneva High School where he played football and wrestled. Liborio did lawn and nursery work for many years, and he was a handyman and was able to fix anything, he repaired appliances and owned his own business for appliance repair and delivery. He helped anyone he could, he enjoyed having a beer with his friends, was very big on family and loved spending time with his grandkids and listening to music. Liborio believed in and had a good relationship with God. Some of his favorite quotes were, "everything happens for a reason" and "I'm as good once, as I ever was". In his last moments of life, he spent a great deal of time with his grandchildren and bonded with them. His time with his grandkids was very special and he cherished every second. Liborio is survived by his children, Destiney Cunha, Anhelena Lebron, Lacie Cutright, and Liborio Lebron III; grandchildren, Jacob Lambert, Patrick Owens Jr., John David Hearn III, and Legacy Dionese; brothers, Julio Collazo, Nelson Collazo, Abrahman Lebron, Michael Gossard, Ricardo Fragoso, and Steven Fragoso; sisters, Idalia Collazo, Priscilla Collazo, Suhail Collazo, Tammy Baker, Bonnie Alcala, and Annette Velazquez. Also surviving are his fiancé, Priscilla Martinez; step-children, Amber Romero, AJ Romero, Manuel Martinez; and Destiny Romero; step-granddaughter, Daniella Bustos. He was preceded in death by his parents, Margaret Melendez and Liborio Collazo Lebron Sr. Calling hours will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025, from 12-2pm at Lake Erie Cremation & Funeral Services, 1500 Harpersfield Rd, Geneva, OH 44041. A burial will immediately follow at Mt Pleasant Cemetery, 600 Walnut St, Geneva, OH 44041. A reception will be held from 4-9pm at Geneva Eagles Club Aerie #2243, 120 Depot St, Geneva, OH 44041.
