Lois Marie Boggs, 83, of Madison, Ohio, was called Home on December 29, 2022. Lois was born November 5, 1939, in Aurora, West Virginia to Virgil Oral Ayers and Ethel May Lambert.
Lois was a graduate of Clay County High School in Clay, West Virginia. She married Noel Boggs in 1959 at Swandale, West Virginia. Her greatest joy was her children, making homecooked meals for her family, entertaining friends, flower gardening, shopping, and having everyone together for Christmas and holidays. She had a great sense of humor and was the ultimate wisecracker. To Lois, everyone was family and always welcome. She will be forever remembered as tough, persistent, strong-willed, kind, and tenacious to the end.
Lois leaves to cherish her memory, husband, Noel P. Boggs of 63 years. She is survived by children Noel (Crystal) Boggs of Madison (with whom she resided), Tim (Bridget) Boggs of Chardon, and Rebecca (Scott) Anderson of Ashtabula. She is survived by grandchildren Miranda Boggs, Holly (Steven) Yoe, Megan Boggs, Seth Boggs, Trevor Rexrode, Sarah Boggs, Morgan Boggs, Abby Boggs, and Samuel Boggs and three beautiful great-granddaughters Charlene "Charlie", Josephine "Jojo", and Maxine "Max" Yoe and countless friends and loved ones.
We would like to express our appreciation and gratitude to her caregivers, Cindy Stehlik and Sue Boylen. She loved you both.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents Virgil and Ethel; children Grant Boggs and David Boggs; and siblings Lucille Loughry, Earn Ayers, and Paul Ayers.
