Louis "Lou" Henry Venneri, Jr., 68, of Geneva-on-the-Lake, Ohio passed away at his home on Friday, December 15, 2023.
He was born July 4, 1955, in Youngstown, Ohio the son of Mona Gail King, Frank King and Louis Venneri Sr. and graduated from Boardman High School. After high school, he went on to serve in the U.S. Army where he received the National Defense Service Medal: Marksman M16 award and then served in the U.S. Navy and received the Order of the Camel-Hump: Transit of the Suez Canal award.
Lou worked at R.W. Sidley's as the Precast Manager from 1987-2009 and at the Triangle Lounge as the Bar Manager from 2015-2023. In his spare time, he was a devoted grandfather and enjoyed laughing, joking and having a good time.
He is survived by his son, Louis Venneri III; daughter-in-law, Emily Venneri; grandchildren, Nora Venneri and Maeve Venneri; sister, Barbara Hull.
Preceding him in death was his mother, Mona Gail King; father, Louis Venneri Sr.; maternal grandparents, Grant Conley, Mary-Elizabeth Conley; paternal grandparents, Giacinto Venneri and Rose Venneri.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2024, from 3:00pm-6:00pm at the Triangle Lounge, 5028 Lake Road East, Geneva-on-the-Lake, Ohio 44041.
Lake Erie Cremation and Funeral Services, 1500 Harpersfield Road, Geneva, Ohio assisted the family with arrangements.
