Lyle D Airwyke Sr.'s Obituary
Lyle D. Airwyke Sr, 86, of Madison, passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Rae-Ann Nursing Center in Geneva.
He was born at home in Perry, Ohio on June 7, 1943, the son of the late William St. Claire and Rachal A. (Headly) Airwyke.
Lyle retired from TRW/Argo-Tech where he worked in the Valve Division. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and spending some time with his grandkids.
He is survived by his wife, Eulan "Judy" (Welch) Airwyke; Daughter, Rhonda (Bill) Bartlett; Son, Lyle (Peggy) Airwyke, Jr; Grandkids, Andrew Bartlett, Aedan Bock-Airwyke, and Kylee Lewis; Brother, Sheldon Airwyke; Sister, Lona Long.
Lyle was preceded in death by parents, William St. Claire and Rachal A. (Headly) Airwyke; Grandson, Nickolas Bartlett; 2 infant Sisters; Brother-law, Mike Kellhofer.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, October 29, 2021 at Painesville Baptist Church, 140 Park Rd, Painesville, Ohio with Pastor Stoney Drain presiding.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Painesville Baptist Church or Hospice of the Western Reserve.
The family wishes to extend a heartfelt "Thank You" to Pastor Stoney Drain, Rae-Ann Nursing Center, and Hospice of the Western Reserve.
