Lynnette Deptowicz, 51, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 29, 2026, surrounded by family. Lynette was born on November 20, 1974, and was a beloved daughter of Kent and Kathleen Olbrys; niece to Christine Horozer; granddaughter to Betty Horozer (deceased); devoted sister to Tony (Kristy) Olbrys and Heather (Sean) Gearing; aunt to Chad (Chanelle) and Alex Olbrys; great-aunt to Adalyn, Santana, A.J and Lily Olbrys; girlfriend to John Scolaro; mother to Danielle Deptowicz (Orlando Rodriguez); grandmother to Zofia Rodriguez. Family was at the center of her life. She will be remembered for her caring nature, strong spirit, and the pride she took in everything she did. She was known for keeping a beautiful home and was very particular about cleanliness and organization. Lynnette enjoyed spending time outdoors doing yard work and took great pride in maintaining her home. Lynnette had a special love for animals, especially her beloved boxer dogs Laz and Dash. She also loved all things Disney and enjoyed the happiness and memories it brought to her. One of her favorite ways to relax was watching her favorite show, Bar Rescue. In her younger years, she was a cheerleader, a role that reflected her energetic personality. As a grandmother, Lynnette cherished the time she got to spend with Zofia and created memories that will be treasured forever. She fought a long, hard battle for 22 years with kidney failure, and is finally at peace. Though her passing leaves an immeasurable void, her memory will live on through family she loved so deeply. “I used to say I live my life a quarter mile at a time. And I think that’s why we are family. No matter where you are, whether it’s a quarter mile away or halfway across the world, you’ll always be with me. And you will always be my family.” -The Fast and the Furious Lake Erie Cremation and Funeral Services, 29801 Lakeland Blvd, Wickliffe, Ohio assisted the family with arrangements. www.LakeErieCrematory.com
