Margaret "Margie" Blair (nee Borzevich)

Margaret "Margie" Blair (nee Borzevich), 96, of Highland Heights, Ohio passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2026.

She was born on August 26, 1929, in Cleveland, Ohio to parents Alexander and Eva Borzevich and married William A. Blair who preceded her in death.

Margaret was a skilled seamstress and artist who enjoyed crafting, painting and sculpting.  She loved playing Pinochle, Bingo, Rummikub and Sequence and also enjoyed crossword puzzles and word search puzzles.  Her greatest joy came from spending time with her loving family who will forever in their hearts, cherish her love, kindness and her memory.

She is survived by her children, Robin (Thomas) Sheppard and Jodi (David) Vargo; grandchildren, Alexis (Richard) Nahra, Tommy Sheppard (partner, Shannon) and Madison (Ryan) Markoff; great-grandchildren, William and Benjamin Nahra; brother, Gregory (Cheryl) Stricharchuk.

Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, William A. Blair; daughter, Marsha Greene; parents, Alexander and Eva Borzevich; brother, Steve Borsen.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2026, from 1:30-4:00pm at Two Friends Brewing, 775 East 185th Street, Cleveland, Ohio 44119.

In place of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made in her memory to Reserve Care (formerly Hospice of the Western Reserve), 17876 St. Clair Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44110 or online at reserve-care.org 

The family wishes to extend a special "Thank You" to Margaret's niece, Claudia Jackson, her friends at Willoughby Hills Senior Apartments, Reserve Care and Vitalia Assisted Living in Highland Heights.

Lake Erie Cremation and Funeral Services, 29801 Lakeland Blvd., Wickliffe, Ohio 44092 assisted the family with arrangements.
