Margaret Ann "Peggy" Kasunick

Margaret Ann “Peggy” Kasunick, age 83, of Madison, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on September 5, 2026. She was born on December 28, 1942, in Euclid, Ohio, to Ernest and Betty Kovach.

Peggy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She married Eugene Kasunick Jr. on January 24, 2002, in Madison, Ohio at the Madison Village Town Hall. She treasured her family and took great pride in the lives and accomplishments of her children and grandchildren.

Peggy worked for approximately 30 years as a Medical Technician at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Dayton, OH, where she dedicated herself to caring for others.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Eugene Kasunick Jr.; her children, Daniel and Michelle Vandervort, Derek and Kateena Vandervort, Angela and Jeff Meyer, and Andrea and Brian Biser; and her grandchildren, Nicole Vandervort, Natalie Vandervort, Darien Vandervort, Dawson Vandervort, Konner Vandervort, Tristen Vandervort, Kellen Vandervort, Karenza Vandervort, Kareena Vandervort, Britni Reese, and Brandon Meyer.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Betty Kovach; daughter, Anita Vandervort; and siblings, Marie Grudski and Mary Ellen.

Peggy will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her. Her devotion to her family, her caring nature, and the memories she created with those she loved will remain with them always.
