Marguerite Hendrix

Marguerite Hendrix, 86, of Bedford Heights, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 4, 2026. She was born on August 27, 1939, in Middletown, OH, to the late Leonard Jones, Sr. and Mary Eliza (Linten) Jones.

Marguerite was united in marriage to Enoch E. Hendrix on May 20, 1961, and together they shared many years of love and devotion until his passing on February 16, 2008. A faithful servant of Jehovah, Marguerite was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and cherished her spiritual life and fellowship deeply.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving children, Shelley Hendrix-Mars (Gregory) of Warrensville Heights, OH, and Rodney Hendrix (Tamara) of Columbus, OH; grandchildren, Denzel Hendrix and Lauryn Hendrix of Columbus, OH, along with many extended family members, and many dear friends.

Marguerite was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Enoch E. Hendrix; her four brothers, Theopolis Jones, Leonard Jones, Jr., Elgin Jones, and Carl Jones; and her four sisters, Doretha Jones, Odell Marvin, Edith Guy, and Carolyn Jones.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, May 22, 2026, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 4334 Lee Rd, Cleveland, OH 44128. Family hour will begin at 3:00 p.m. followed by a memorial service starting at 4:00 p.m.

Marguerite will be remembered for her quiet strength, loving heart, steadfast faith, and dedication to her family. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
