Mary Ann Konya

Mary Ann Konya (nee Tirpack), age 87, died peacefully on September 13, 2026. 

Beloved wife of Frank for 64 years. Frank and Mary Ann were high school sweethearts of the Class of 1957 at Campbell Memorial High School. Loving mother of sons Frank W. Konya III (Maureen) and Mark A. Konya (Joan); devoted grandmother of Michael, Kelly, Alexis, and Andrew. 

Born on April 21, 1939, in Youngstown, Ohio, daughter of Andrew and Mary Tirpack (both deceased). Longtime resident of both Avon Lake and Avon. Dedicated homemaker, amazing cook, skillfull pastry maker and cake decorator. Enjoyed many interests throughout her life including gardening, floral arranging, and crocheting or knitting many afghan blankets. Passionate fan of the Browns, Indians, Cavs, Buckeyes, and of all sporting events in which her sons or grandchildren participated. A devout Catholic and charitable person whose kind ways and warm smile will be missed by many. 

Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday, September 19, 2026, at St. Joseph Church in Avon Lake. Interment Private, Rest Haven Memory Gardens Avon.
