Michael Ryan Hottovy, 65, of Geneva, Ohio passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, December 12, 2024.
He was born November 10, 1959 in Sutherland, Nebraska to Ivan Hottovy and Karen Richards. In his infancy, his mother remarried to Douglas Richards who helped raise Michael.
Michael enjoyed playing the lottery, watching football and spending time in nature, especially going to the covered bridge and having lunch with Debbie. He also loved spending time with Romeo, their family pet. His favorite thing to do was to spend time with his family and friends, especially getting together on Halloween.
He is survived by his companion, Debbie Wyatt; stepsons, Mike (Tina) Wyatt, Jeremy (Char) Wyatt; stepdaughter, Sara (Brad) Campana; grandchildren, Michael Wyatt, Zachary Wyatt, Haleigh Campana and Brooklyn Wyatt; siblings, Allan Hottovy of Liberty, TN, Randy (Tammy) Hottovy of St. Charles, IL, Jackie (Josh) Whisler of Peru, NE, Toni (Jeff) Bomberger of Curtis, NE, Teresa (Kevin) Hafer of North Platte, NE and Michelle (Terry) Myers of Cheyenne, WY; stepfather, Douglas Richards. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death was his father, Ivan Hottovy; mother, Karen Richards; brother, Terry Hottovy.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Lake Erie Cremation and Funeral Services, 1500 Harpersfield Road, Geneva, Ohio assisted the family with arrangements.
