Michael Vincent Thompson

Michael Vincent Thompson, age 65, of Wickliffe, Ohio passed away at home on Monday, June29, 2026. He was born on October 31, 1960 and was a lifelong resident of Lake County.

Michael worked for Skrl Tool and Die Company, Stock Equipment and Mika Metal Fabricating over the years as a metal finisher and grinder. He enjoyed metal detecting, car detailing, playing the lottery and reading. Michael was very artistic and loved to draw caricatures. He also loved feeding the squirrels peanuts and the deer apples in his back yard. He had a soft heart for his two dogs and cat, Mocha, Samoa and Nala.

Michael is survived by his daughters, Melissa (Frank) Gant, Danielle (John) Skorupski, three grandchildren; his sister, Teri Thompson; his sister-in-law, Carrie Thompson; and his aunt Debbie (Bernie) Rietze.

His brother, Robert William Thompson, Jr., parents, Martha Williams and Robert Thompson, Sr., and grandparents Mary and Vince Zivador are deceased.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions can be made to any animal rescue.
