Michael William Zenuch

Michael William Zenuch, 71, of Madison, Ohio, passed away peacefully on May 26, 2026, at Geneva Skilled Nursing Home, where he had recently resided, following a long illness.

Born on September 19, 1954, in Reno, Nevada, Michael was the son of George Zenuch Jr. and Elizabeth “Joan” Zenuch. He later made his home in Madison and was a proud graduate of Madison High School.

Michael was known for his mechanical talent, curiosity, and love of working with his hands. He found great enjoyment in rebuilding motorcycles, working on cars, and tinkering with electronics. Whether repairing something broken or taking apart a machine to understand how it worked, Michael appreciated the challenge of creating, restoring, and improving. He also enjoyed collecting firearms and spending time pursuing his interests in shooting sports.A man of Catholic faith, Michael valued family and maintained close connections with those he loved.

He is survived by his sisters, Kathleen (Paul) Senita of Michigan, Patricia Yuhas and family (Lindsay, Lauren, Jamie), of Ohio; his nieces and nephews, Jennifer Senita, Andrew Senita and Jess, Alex (Megan) Senita, and Sarah (Ethan) Strodtbeck; and his grandnephew, Elliott Senita.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, George Zenuch Jr. and Elizabeth “Joan” Zenuch; and his brother, Timothy Stephen Zenuch (1997). 

Private services will be held by the family.

Michael will be remembered for his independent spirit, practical skills, and the satisfaction he found in working with his hands and solving problems. His memory will be cherished by his family and all who knew him
