Nelson James Reynolds

Nelson James Reynolds, 70, of Chardon, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 10, 2026.

He was born on January 26, 1956, in Painesville, Ohio, to Rolland Reynolds and Estelle Turcotte.

Nelson was proud to be an American and was Vietnam veteran who served in the United States Navy

He was a loving husband, brother, father, and grandfather who cherished his family very much. Nelson will be remembered for the love he gave to those around him and for the many memories he created with his family.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Angela Denise Reynolds; his children, Steven and Jennifer Reynolds, Alma Ann Hatting, and Brian Reynolds; and his grandchildren, Wesley Reynolds, Theresa Reynolds, Alex Charles, Allen Reynolds, Jacey Haffey, and Autumn Reynolds. He is also survived by siblings, Dennis and Sheila Waltz and numerous nieces and nephews.

Nelson's family was the center of his life, and his love for them will continue to live on through the generations.

A memorial celebration of life will be announced at a later date and will be held with family and friends.

Those who knew and loved Nelson will carry his memory in their hearts and remember the devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and family man he was.
