Nicholas Gavin Laska, age 25, passed away Thursday, April 8th, 2021. He was born April 14th, 1995 in Painesville Township Ohio. He is the son of Rebecca (McMann) Muehl and Christopher Laska. Nicholas is a 2013 graduate of Madison High School. Nick's employer said he was a rare find and the company was impressed and had big plans for him. Nick had his CDL and had been an over-the-road truck driver for a few years and he found this job very rewarding. Nick loved playing video games, being in the outdoors and had an avid interest in skateboarding. He is survived by his son, Keelan Antares Laska (Green Bay, WI), his mother, Rebecca Muehl (Madison, OH), Father, Christopher Laska (Roaming Shores, OH), his brother Christopher Laska (Mentor, OH), his maternal grandmother, Veronica McMann (Erie, PA), and several loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. Nick is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Ernest McMann (Erie, PA), paternal grandparents, Alexander (Carol) Laska (Erie PA), and step-father Gary Muehl ( Madison, OH). A graveside service and burial will take place in Madison at a future date that will be announced by the family. Rev. Howard Davis will officiate.
