Obituary

Lee Hamilton, 54, of Madison/Ashtabula, Ohio passed away unexpectedly of sudden cardiac arrest on Sunday September 12, 2021. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and raised in foster care until he met his childhood sweetheart, Lori Hayden Hamilton, and through their love found and created a family of his own—including a loving new mother, Joan Parton, siblings Lisa (Gary Renner), Cynthia (Jaye Brusman), Charles (Sarah Parton) and aunts and uncle, Patricia Beatty, Charlie Beatty and Peggy Beatty.

He was a family man and loved his devoted current wife of 14 years, Michele Rose Hamilton, his kids and his grandkids. He is survived by his three daughters from his first marriage, Katherine Hamilton, Jessica (Joey Wessel) and Hope (Michael Zook). His wife, Michele Rose Hamilton, child, Gabriella Hamilton, Stepdaughter, Scarlet Rose and stepson, Maverick Rose. His grandchildren Jaylee Wessel, Hayden Wessel, Harper Zook and Hadley Zook.

Lee Hamilton, a true master of his craft, started his dog training venture over 35 years ago, when he took his Rottweiler, Princess, to Dan Buzek of Super Dog of Cincinnati Ohio. His love and passion for dogs continued to grow and eventually led him to meet his current wife, Michele, and love of his life. He has owned and operated Man's Best Friend Dog Training in Madison Ohio for the last 10 years with his family. During this time, he used his skill and passion to train and deliver dogs across the country. He greatly enjoyed being on the road and taking his family and grandchildren on these adventures. His recent hobbies and goals included spending time with his family, teaching and traveling with his daughter Gabby, working out, anything sports related and most recently PSA work. He was training hard to pass his decoy certification and had hopes of titling his German Shepherd, Carnage in PSA.

Above all, Lee was a man of deep faith and is a child of the One True God, and brother of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
