Pamela Ruth (Grove) Hiser, 75, of Roaming Shores, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, due to complications from leukemia. Pam was born on March 9, 1950, in Braddock, Pennsylvania, to Nelson Oliver Grove and Lillian May (Letcher) Grove. She graduated from Eastlake North High School in 1968 and went on to build a meaningful career. Early in her professional life, Pam worked as an Executive Assistant for several companies. Later, she found her true calling in healthcare. She served as a Senior Lab Scheduler at the Cleveland Clinic and retired in 2017, leaving behind a legacy of compassion and dedication.
On November 5, 1995, she married Steven Robert Hiser at Reformation Lutheran Church in
Eastlake, Ohio. Their partnership was filled with love, laughter, and shared adventures.
Pam lived with heart and purpose. She loved golfing, boating, biking, gardening, and crafting. But
above all, she loved her family. She was the kind of person who took care of everyone — the glue
that held people together. Her kitchen was a gathering place, her table always open, her care
unconditional.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Steven Robert Hiser; her stepdaughter, Stephanie Hiser
and family; her sister, Gerri (Grove) Mirl (Dave); brothers Don Grove (Sue) and Michael Grove
(Kathy); brother-in-law John Carmigiano; stepbrother Adrian Tilney (Marion) and his daughters;
and 26 beloved nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her dearest friend and matron of
honor, Lynn Child.
Pam was preceded in death by her parents, Nelson and Lillian Grove; her brothers Richard Grove
and Robert Grove (Eola); and her sisters Patricia Norris (Ed), Myrna Grove, Susan Klein (Josef),
and Barbara Carmigiano.
Per Pam's wishes, no public services will be held. She asked to be remembered for how she lived
and the connections she made. A private celebration of life will be held at a future date.
In honor of Pam's generous spirit, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project at
woundedwarriorproject.org.
Pam will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished.
