Patricia M. Pakkala, 86, of Ashtabula, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 16, 2025, in Geneva, Ohio. She was born on February 4, 1939, in Plattsburg, New York, to parents John and Margaret (Lanktree) Recore and married Robert Pakkala on May 4, 1961. Patricia was a member of Assumption Church in Geneva and enjoyed reading and going to many garage sales over the years. She is survived by her husband, Robert Pakkala; children, Justine (Jim) Doherty and Brian Pakkala; daughter-in-law, Jodi Pakkala; grandchildren, Ryan (Rachel) Pakkala, Adam Pakkala, Jimmy (Ericka) Doherty, Megan (Matt) Hallgren, Kelsey Doherty, Hailey Doherty, Brandon Pakkala, and Hanna Pakkala. Patricia is preceded in death by her son, Bruce Pakkala (January 18, 2022) and her granddaughter, Ashley Pakkala.
