Patricia Ann Stanton, 78, of Painesville, Ohio passed away Thursday, July 27, 2023.
She was born June 11, 1945 in Cleveland, Ohio the daughter of Carl and Katherine (Gailus) Passerell and grew up in Madison Village, Ohio.
Patricia received her nursing education at St. Luke's Hospital and later returned to school to earn a master's degree from Cleveland State University. She was a registered nurse and worked at Lake Hospital System until she retired. After retiring, she lived in Painesville most of the year and would spend winters in New Port Richey, Florida. During retirement she enjoyed spending time with friends and family, shopping, and dining out.
She is survived by her children, Melissa Stanton and her spouse Brian Sours of Chardon, Ohio and her beloved cat, Cali; grand-cats, Mortimer and Magnolia; sisters, Rose Ringenbach and Annette Passerell; brothers, David Passerell, Joseph Passerell, Michael Passerell, and Steven Passerell.
Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Stanton.
A Celebration of Life and inurnment in Fairview Memorial Cemetery in Madison Village, Ohio will be planned at a later date.
Lake Erie Cremation and Funeral Services, 1500 Harpersfield Road, Geneva, Ohio assisted the family with arrangements.
