Patricia "Pat" Sutherland, 71, Geneva, Ohio, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2023 at UH Geauga Medical Center.
Pat was born September 6, 1951, in Mentor, Ohio, the daughter of the late Daniel James and Norma Jean (Barnes) Knepper. After graduating from Mentor High School, she married Dennis Duane Sutherland who preceded her in death.
She worked as a manager at Courtyard Apartments for 27 years before retiring in 2018. In her spare time, she loved spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren, and her closest dear friends.
Pat is survived by her children, Daniel Duane (Amy) Sutherland, and Shannon Renee (Travis) Sutherland; grandchildren, Gabby, Alivia, Adalyn, Danny and another grandchild "on the way"; several great-grandchildren; siblings, Daniel James Knepper, Shirley Louise (Bill) Babcock, and Beverly Ann Boling.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Duane Sutherland; daughter, Mary Elizabeth Sutherland; grandchildren, Justice Duane Sutherland, and Lilliana Jean Sutherland.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
