Paul William Gersin, age 61, of Ashtabula, passed away after a long battle with cancer on May 21st, 2021 at the Hospice House in Cleveland. Born April 18th, 1960 to parents Karen M. (Roberts) Gersin and Gary Gersin. On June 14th, 2013, Paul married his sweetheart, Rebecca J. (Lewis) Gersin at Club Agape in Ashtabula. Paul and his family were extremely proud of his 38 years of sobriety and membership with Club Agape in Ashtabula. Paul's favorite hobby was playing blackjack at Presque Isle Downs & Casino in Erie, Pa. Paul is survived by his loving wife Rebecca Gersin, his niece; Alecia (Lucas) Elbert, and his great niece and nephew; Courtney & Cody Elbert. Paul is also survived by his siblings; Mary Wagner, Gary (Michelle) Gersin Jr., Jeffrey Gersin, Theresa Gersin, and Derek Gersin. Longtime friends also surviving Paul; Robert "Rob" Nicholson, Tony Phillips, Donny Hayes, Debra Johnson, Ronald Rocco, Cindy Vance, Tim Sedmak, and the Ashtabula Dream Center. Paul was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Richard A. Gersin (2014).
