Paul Laing Jr. "Paulie", age 69, of Geneva, Ohio, passed away Monday, January 15, 2024, in Geneva, Ohio. He was born September 21, 1954, in Painesville, Ohio, to Paul Sr. and Donna June Laing. Paul spent many years working as an equipment operator and retired while working for the City of Mentor. He was very fond of Harley Davidson motorcycles and hot rods and enjoyed working on them in his shop. Paul is survived by his two sons, Charlie (Ali) Laing, and Foster Laing; grandchildren, Hadlie, Charlotte, and Lawrence; also surviving are many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Sr. and Donna June Laing; and sister, Carolyn June Flarida. A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, from 5pm-7pm at Lake Erie Cremation and Funeral Services, 1500 Harpersfield Road, Geneva, Ohio. The family will be holding an outdoor motorcycle friendly celebration at a later date. Paul will eventually be buried with his parents at Concord Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made in his name to the Ashtabula County Animal Protective League.
