Paul Arthur Reichel

Paul Arthur Reichel, 79, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 26, 2026, at his family home in Perry, Ohio, surrounded by his loved ones.

Paul was born on April 28, 1947, in Meadville, Pennsylvania, to Arthur Herman Reichel and Jean Katherine Magee. He proudly served his country in the United States Army in 1965.

On May 2, 1970, Paul married Betty Jane Motherwell in Saegertown, Pennsylvania. Together, they built a life and family filled with love and lasting memories.

Paul is survived by his beloved wife, Betty Jane Reichel, and his daughters, Stephanie Lynn Tinner, Amy Beth Reichel (Jorga Houy), and Heather Renee Nichols. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Samuel Paul Nichols and Ruby Lee Nichols, who brought love and joy to his life.

Paul’s family will remember him as a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and family man. His presence will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him, and the memories he leaves behind will continue to live on in the hearts of his family.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Reserve Care Hospice for their care, compassion, and support during Paul’s final days.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.

Paul will be laid to rest at Reichel Cemetery in Crawford County, Pennsylvania.

He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his family and all whose lives he touched.
