Peggy L. Airwyke, 67, of Geneva, Ohio passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2024, in Madison, Ohio.
She was born March 4, 1957, in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late James Donald Boggs Sr. and Mary Althea Riley and graduated from Geneva High School.
Peggy worked more than 20 years as an STNA at Broadfield Manor and as an EMT at Broadfield Ambulance. She also worked as a Corrections Officer at Lake Erie Correctional Institute.
In her free time, she loved spending time with her granddaughter, Kylee Lewis, who was her pride and joy. She also enjoyed fishing, watching the Cleveland Indians, cross stitching, and most especially being with family and friends.
Peggy is survived by her husband, Lyle Airwyke, Jr.; son, Robert Lewis (fiancé, Cassie Thomas); granddaughter, Kylee Lewis; sisters, Mary Sue (Boggs) Stracola and her husband, Dave of Orwell, Ohio and Patricia Ann (Boggs) Withrow and her husband, Roy of Columbus, Ohio; brothers, James Donald Boggs, Jr. of Lecanto, Florida and Ronald Boggs.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Donald Boggs Sr. and Mary Althea Riley; stillborn sister, Mary Elizabeth Boggs.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, from 5pm-7pm at Lake Erie Cremation and Funeral Services, 1500 Harpersfield Road, Geneva, Ohio 44041.
