Peter Cipriano, Age 70, of Middlefield, Ohio, passed away peacefully in his sleep on January 18, 2025.
Peter was born to the late Peter, Sr. and Julia Cipriano on August 27, 1954 in Cleveland, Ohio. After Peter graduated from Brush High School in Lyndhurst, he worked a variety of jobs. In more recent years, he was a taxi driver among the Amish in the Middlefield area and really enjoyed it. He also enjoyed conversation, the outdoors, and the occasional chess game with his children. He was known for his quiet sense of humor and willingness to help others.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother and sister-in-law, Nicholas and Carmalee Cipriano.
Peter leaves a brother Joseph Cipriano (Katherine) of Lyndhurst, Ohio, along with five nephews and one niece. Joseph Cipriano, Jr. (Denise) of Solon, Ohio. Michael Cipriano (Marcia) of Parma, Ohio. Nicholas Cipriano of Capistrano Beach, California. Nikki Jo Tabor (Vern) of Geneva, Ohio, and Peter Cipriano and Tony Cipriano (Arizona).
Mourning his passing are Karyn (Freedman) of Middlefield, Ohio, and three children: Ashley married to Thomas Maack, of Kronshagen, Germany; Melissa Cipriano and Christopher Cipriano, both of Middlefield. Two grandchildren: Zeva and Henry and many friends and taxi clients.
A memorial service will be held at Zion Christian School, 4300 Kinsman Road, Mesopotamia, Ohio on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at 4:00 p.m.
Lake Erie Cremation and Funeral Services, 1500 Harpersfield Road, Geneva, Ohio assisted the family with arrangements.
