Rebecca D. Eidens, 69, of Ashtabula, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on August 29, 2022 after fighting Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer.
She is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth (Jusufu) Barclay of New Bern, NC; and Claire Eidens of Ashtabula, OH; son Bin Eidens of Ashtabula, OH; and grandchildren Jett and Jessie.
Also a brother, Frank (Bonnie) Eidens of Ashtabula, OH; a sister, Debie Eidens (John) Wing of Chillicothe, OH; and nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gurdon and Wilna Eidens, and a sister, Beverly Eidens Wrizzley.
Adopting all three of her children from China was one of her many accomplishments.
Becky spent her working career as a dedicated special education teacher working for the county in the local school system. In retirement, among other things, Becky delivered Meals on Wheels. She was a gentle person who loved her family, including many pets over the years. She will be missed very much by the family and friends who love her.

For the ones that attend, since her favorite color was light blue/blue, We invite you to join the family in wearing something in that color. We also ask if you could contribute bringing food and drinks for a potluck picnic after the memorial. *please notify a family member what you will be bringing*
