Richard (Dick) Allen Lange, 65, of Geneva, Ohio passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at his family home on his "throne" (bed) after an 8-year battle with cancer.
Dick was born April 24, 1958, in Alpena, Michigan to the late Thomas and June Lange. On October 25, 1986, he married Christine Pasqualone in Orlando, Florida and together they shared 37 years of love and memories.
He was a "backyard" electrician originally taught by his father and then self-educated and trained throughout his 50+ years of experience. In his spare time, Dick loved hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles, riding snowmobiles, scuba diving, golfing, sport shooting with sister's tea sets, coaching kids' sports, attending the VFW as a social member, VFW bowling, and especially attending his grandkids' sports and school functions.
Dick is survived by his wife Christine Lange; children, Courtney (Lange) and husband Justin Grillo, Cassie (Lange) and husband Heath Sironen, Zac Lange and wife Shelby (Smith) Lange; grandchildren, Jordan Hodge, Matt Sironen, Trinity Sironen, Faith Sironen, Ethan Sironen, Kylie Sironen, Rylie Sironen, and Kinsley Grillo; siblings, Carol (Lange) Dziesinski, Diane (Lange) Uekman and husband Mark, and Debbie (Lange) Schultz; mother and father in-law, Michael and Norma Pasqualone; sister-in-law, Renee (Pasqualone) Mason; brother-in-law, Mark Pasqualone; his dog, Remi Lange.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and June Lange; brothers-in-law, Jim Schultz, Craig Mason, and Stan Dziesinski.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the Summer of 2024 at a date that will be announced closer to the time of the service.
