Richard William Myers (Rick), age 61, of Willowick, OH passed away Thursday, February 5, 2026, in Willoughby, OH from complications of heart failure.
He was born on December 15, 1964, in Euclid, OH to the late Richard E. and Donna J. (Peterson) Myers.
On July 3, 2003, he married Esther Tuttle in Willowick, OH and together they shared over 22 years of love and memories.
Ricked worked in IT Security, and in his spare time was a passionate dart player and proud Diamond member of the Grosse Pointe Dart Team with LEDA in Mentor, OH. He truly enjoyed spending time with his dart family and will be deeply missed by them. Rick also competed in a singles league and was looking forward to his upcoming playoff appearance with great excitement.
Rick was a wonderful, loving husband who always ensured his family was well taken care of. He was a devoted stepfather to our son, Carlton Cannaday. Rick was deeply loved by his sister-in-law, Nola Cooper of Des Moines, IA; his brother-in-law, Chuck Tuttle of Grandview, MO and by all of his nieces, nephews, and their families. Also, having lived in his childhood home, Rick leaves behind many cherished friends. I am incredibly grateful for their presence in my life.
Preceding Rick in death were his parents, Richard E. and Donna J. (Peterson) Myers and sister, Rhonda Myers.
Rick will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him. I am deeply grateful that we were able to share so many years together. So long for now, Rick, until we meet again. Love, your wife Esther.
