Robert "Bob" Anderson, 86, of Geneva, Ohio, passed away on Monday, April 8, 2024. He was born January 17, 1938, in Spangler, Pennsylvania to parents Bevan and Mary (Abramovich) Anderson. Bob graduated from Northern Cambria High School in Barnesboro-Spangler, Pennsylvania, and married Caroll on July 14, 1962. He retired after working for over 40 years at Bescast Investment Castings. Bob loved to golf and fish, was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #2243, and of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #6846, where he served in the Color Guard. He served in the U.S. Army from 1955-1958 in the 290th Armored Field Artillery Battalion. Bob is survived by his children, Scott Anderson of Geneva, OH, and Kelli (Anderson) Bates of Columbus, OH; two beloved granddaughters, Bridget, and Madelyn Bates; a dear nephew and niece, Dennis (Darlene) Anderson, and Laurie Schepis. He was preceded in death by his wife, Caroll Anderson; brother, Bevon Anderson; sister, Ruth Hoare.
