Robert Joseph Davis, 69, of Madison, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at his family's farm.
He was born October 12, 1952 in Painesville, Ohio to Robert F. and Carolyn (Kosier) Davis. On July 12, 1972 he married Shelley Arnold in Monroe, Michigan and together they shared 50 years of love and memories.
Robert was a retired Master Sergent in Recon, honorably serving 20 years in the US Marine Corps. In his spare time, he was a member of the Jehovah Witness Kingdom Hall, and he loved hunting.
He is survived by his wife, Shelley (Arnold) Davis; Children, Chad Davis, Christopher (Marita) Davis, and Jennafer (Elmer) Ellis; grandchildren, Christian Davis, Breanna Kangas, Jorden Ellis, Matthew Davis, Tayler Ellis, Daniel Davis, Jayden Davis, Madden Davis, Christopher Davis, Slavia Davis; Great-Grandkids, Kaitlynn Ellis, Greyson Davis, Ian Ellis, and Irie Davis; Siblings, Carol Benetka, Debbie Abbott, Kathy Suter, and Richard Davis; and Aunt, Mary Kosier.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, August 26, 2022 at 12:00pm in Alexander Harper Cemetery, at the corner of Rt. 84 and County Line Road in Harpersfield Township. Following the service, a reception will be held at the Davis Farm.
The family wishes to extend a heartfelt "Thank You" to Lloyd Abbott for all the hunts and to Harry Bush for all the love.
