Robert Earl Joyce

Robert Earl "Bob" Joyce, 91, of Willowick, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, June 3, 2026.

Born on March 21, 1935, in Morgantown, West Virginia, Bob was the son of the late Joseph Albion Joyce, Jr. and Colletta Mary (Joyce) Anderson. He attended high school in Point Marion, Pennsylvania, and married the love of his life, Barbara Foust, on November 2, 1963, and for 62 years together they shared many years of love, devotion, and family.

Bob proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from 1957 to 1961 as a Jet Mechanic. Following his military service, he enjoyed a long and successful career with TRW Valve Division, where he worked from 1953 until his retirement in 1998. Bob was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather whose greatest joy was spending time with his family. 

He is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara Joyce; his children, Robert Scott Joyce (spouse Teresa Mason Joyce) and Kelley Mary Joyce; his grandchildren, Kaylyn Joyce Culliton, Andrew Robert Thomas Culliton, Victoria Evelyn Joyce, and Katherine Mason Joyce; and numerous nieces and nephews. Bob is also survived by his brother, Sherwood Ewing Anderson.

He was preceded in death by his parents. 

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Bob's life on June 17th from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a service starting at 4:30 p.m., at American Legion Post 678, 570 East 328th Street, Willowick, Ohio 44095. Bob will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his service to his country, his strong work ethic, and the kindness he showed to those around him. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
