Robert A. Patrick, 62, of Fairport Harbor, Ohio, passed away at home on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, from cancer.
He was born October 8, 1960, in Madison, Ohio, the son of Robert M. and Betty L. Patrick and graduated from Willoughby South High School. Robert formerly worked for Huffman Construction and DiFonzo Construction and most recently worked at DeLongs Topsoil & Mulch. He was a longtime member of the Fairport Harbor Slovenian Club where he was Captain of the Balina team. He was also a loyal Cleveland Browns fan.
Robert is survived by his children, Robert Patrick of Gilbert, Arizona, Brittany Elkins of Huntington, West Virginia, Blaze Patrick of Fairport Harbor, Ohio, and step-son, Joseph Diven II of Fairport Harbor, Ohio; grandchildren, Hunter, Trevon, Gabriella, MacKenzie, Nicholas, Evan, Evelyn, Charlotte, Alexander, Benjamin, and Adriana; brothers, Michael Patrick, Richard Patrick and Tim Patrick.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert M. and Betty L. Patrick; grandparents, Mike and Bertha Patrick; ex-wife, Angie Diven.
At his request, a private family burial will take place. There will be no public services.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the Lake County office of Hospice of the Western Reserve, 34900 Chardon Road, Suite 105, Willoughby, Ohio 44094.
The family wishes to extend a heartfelt "Thank You" to Bob's family members and Hospice of Lake County for their constant bedside care.
Lake Erie Cremation and Funeral Services, 1500 Harpersfield Road, Geneva, Ohio assisted the family with arrangements.
