Wayne Township - Rodney B. Huffman (known to many as "R") age 66 passed away at his home on November 25, 2024. He was born February 28, 1958 in Warren, Ohio to Willard and Kathryn Huffman.
"R" spent many years in the oil and gas field as a driller. He also spent time as a water well guru. "R" enjoyed spending time outdoors. He especially liked spending time with his children, grandchildren, family and friends.
"R" is survived by his son Mike Huffman of North Carolina, Daughter Melissa Huffman of North Carolina, Daughter Lily of Jefferson, 5 grandchildren: sisters Frances Barta of Vienna, Alice Huffman of Murphysboro, Il, Juanita Rider of Andover: Brother H. James Huffman of Williamsfield. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceding him in death was his father Willard Huffman, Mother Kathryn (Johnson) Huffman, brother Terry Huffman, sister Linda Dodge, daughter Lauralie Mary Huffman and granddaughter Allieson Marie Huffman.
The family will hold a celebration of life, open to the public, on Saturday January 11, 2025 at 12 noon in the Williamsfield Community Center Gym, 5920 US 322, Williamsfield, OH., 44093. Lake Erie Cremation & Funeral Services assisted the family with arrangements. 440-361-2273.
