Roger Dale Shahan, age 80 of Madison, passed away on October 7, 2025, at home, surrounded by his family. Roger was born on March 7, 1945, in Geneva to his parents, Wilbur and Evelyn (Poling) Shahan. Roger married Linda (Mealy) Shahan on April 3, 1965, and since divorced, but remained friends. Roger worked many years for Lubrizol (Painesville Ohio Plant), eventually retiring from there. In his free time, Roger was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also enjoyed gardening, camping, and wood-working. He is survived by his sons, Kevin (Jenny) Shahan, and Greg (Rhonda) Shahan, by his grandchildren, Patricia, Crystal, Anthony, Randy, Tristan; great-grandchildren, Ryan, Cassidy, JennaRose, and Lily. He is also survived by his siblings, Linda (Shahan) Napolitian and Ronnie Shahan. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his siblings, Richard, David and Carolyn.
