Ronald "Ron" Dod, 72, of Andover, passed away March 21, 2021 at Hillcrest Medical Center in Mayfield Heights.
He was born August 30, 1948 in Cleveland, the son of Sidney J. Dod and Virginia Schroeder.
Ron was a veteran of the US Navy and US Marine Corps serving in Vietnam. After his honorable discharge he worked at Chrysler for many years and in his spare time enjoyed fishing, hunting, and attending the Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by his children Cheri (Dale) Good, Lori (Troy) Damicone, and Kodi Carl; grandchildren Chad, Zac, Sydnie, Anthony, Mario, and Lilliona; brother, Bob Dod.
Ron was preceded in death by his wife, Kim Dod and his parents.
A Celebration of Life service will be planned at a later date.
Lake Erie Cremation and Funeral Services, 1500 Harpersfield Rd, Geneva, Ohio assisted the family with arrangements.
