Ronald E. "Putt-Putt" Pudder, age 86, of Geneva, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2026.

Ronald was born on January 25, 1939, in Diana, West Virginia, to William McKinley Pudder and Lula Gay Couger (Woods) and graduated from Geneva High School. He spent much of his life in Geneva, where he was well known and loved.

Ronald retired from Hubbell Industries, where he worked for many years. A talented artist, he loved to sing and play the guitar, and he especially enjoyed watching sports—most notably cheering on the Cleveland Indians. He was a lifetime member of the VFW and the Fraternal Order of Eagles.

He is survived by his children: Lori Steimle (George), Kurt Pudder, Jodi Williams (Tim), Lisa Culver, and Cari Giffin (Joe); 14 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren; and his sister, Jenna Hoffman.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William McKinley Pudder and Lula Gay Cowger (Woods); his beloved cat, Sebastian; and siblings, Delma Thorpe, Leroy Pudder, Gatha Thorpe, Freeman Pudder, Vera Lee Pudder at birth, Norma Jean Brown, and Franklin Pudder.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 7th, from 12-2 pm at Lake Erie Cremation & Funeral Services, 1500 Harpersfield Rd, Geneva, OH 44041.

The family would like to extend special thanks to the Rae Ann Staff and Geneva Hospital Staff for their compassionate care.
