Rosemarie T. Backovsky, 81, of Mentor-On-The-Lake, Ohio passed away August 10, 2026. Rosie, who was also known as Terri, suffered with a blood disorder for the last year. 

She was the daughter of John and Helen Backovsky (both deceased) and sister to Anne Chorba (John, deceased),Tami and Tim Backovsky. She leaves many nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews who loved her so much!

Rosie worked as a hairdresser at Andre' Duval Salon and also as a healthcare aid for the county. She also was a dispatcher for Stevens Towing. Her dear close friends were her constant companions. She was an active member of the Hungarian Club in Geauga County. We will always remember her for her great sense of humor, quick wit and a fabulous memory. She will be welcomed into heaven probably telling a joke.
